Performance Management  -  Deadline Passed: If you haven't yet had a performance management meeting and had your targets for 07 - 08 agreed you should contact either of us below. Your school should have long since set up its policy. If in doubt ask your Head first then us! Below is the recent history of this process.
Every school now has a duty to consult and review its performance management policy. The DfE has, with the RIG associations published a model policy to fit the regulations, which are statutory, but which also provides “guidance”. Our national team has produced our own policy and sent to all Reps, Heads and Chairs of Governors.

 Locally we have analysed the two documents and here is our policy with the important safeguards that we need highlighted. If you cannot persuade your school to adopt our policy as it stands then fight to get all the highlighted passages included.
